Founded in early 2022 by Kelly McKinley and Andie Altman, GROW–which stands for Grass Roots Outreach Warriors–has already made a tremendous impact in the community by bringing together scores of unhoused neighbors and community volunteers.
GROW provides food, hydration, and hygiene care, plus opens the doors to resources that offer services, including physical and mental care. GROW’s actions lead to compassionate interactions and friendships where people work together and bring results.

Our Mission
It is so easy to fall into a pattern of apathy as we go through our lives. Our organization was born out of a commitment to work hard to resolve homelessness and stop passing over the real issues of our unhoused friends and deal with them head on. We have set out to aid those who need it most.
GROW is committed to providing kindness, compassion and basic life needs to unhoused individuals and those in need in our community. We are dedicated to providing nourishment, hygiene services, friendship, rapport, and outreach.
Our mission is to foster meaningful relationships with our homeless friends and community partners and to create a safe and supportive environment that encourages growth, personal development, stabilization, and positive changes for all.
GROW needs everyone’s support in the community – and that means YOU. Our donations are used exclusively for the benefit of those we serve, all overhead expenses are borne by sponsors, volunteers and directors. Please contact us about being a sponsor.
